Visit to Grandpa Terry's new place

On Saturday, we headed up to Mankato to help Grandpa Terry move. After 2 years in Cambridge, he transferred to a Cub Foods in Mankato. We helped unload the UHaul late Saturday afternoon, went out for supper and hit Target on Sat. We had a big slumber party at Grandpa's house as Uncle Eric, BJ, and Briana (Eric's friends) were there too. Sunday we went out for breakfast and then spent 4 more hours shopping (much to Jason's delight!) Of course Presley had to ride on the carousel (twice) at the mall! It was a fun weekend!

Madison takes off!

Yes indeed...she sure did! Friday night (Oct 24), we were eating supper and Presley yelled "Look at Madison!" She had taken off with her toy walker...and walked across the living room floor! And, she continued to do that the entire night...across the living room, down the hall, etc.! She is getting so big! We also noticed her 8th tooth has come through! In 7 weeks, she will be 1!

Presley visits the firestation

On October 23, Jason, Presley and I headed to the fire station for pre-school. Jason took the morning off so that he would get a chance to bring Presley to pre-school and ride the bus! I met them there. She had a great time...and all the kids seemed like they learned a lot. She knows what to do if she were to catch on fire, where to go outside if our house was on fire, etc. It's amazing what they absorb!

Madison Jay is 10 months old!

Hi,

How could I forget...Madison Jay turned 10 months old just 2 days ago! I
She is doing so great! She is a very busy baby!!!!

Here's a little update -

Teeth - she has 7 now...4 on the top...and 3 on the bottom! And boy does she use them with...
...Eating - she eats lots and lots of table foods. I think I can count on 1 hand the number of times I have bought her baby food. She loves table foods and...
...Moving!!! She is constantly on the go. She's been crawling for months now and is really getting around with walking along furniture. She has let go of things a few times and found she can stand by herself for about 5 seconds. She reaches between her toys and has really ventured out a few times. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if she...
...Walked very soon! By a year, she will be walking.

She has really started to play well now...she loves to play in the toy room with her big sister! And she hates the 2 gates we have up...that keeps her from exploring up (or down) stairs! She is quite the gabber (I wonder where she gets that) and loves to talk on the phone!

It's hard to believe in just 2 months, she will be 1!

The month of Oct. continues!

Hi,

I noticed after posting our anniversary post (2 1/2 weeks late) that I hadn't posted anything since the beginning of Oct. I am going to do that below!

On the 4th, we went to the annual Scott and Sindy Wiertzema Saloon party. This is one of Jason's mom's cousins. They built an actual saloon on their property and once a year, invite their family over for a party. It was a good time1

The 5th was our anniverary...which I talked about in the previous post!

On the 10th, I had a vendor fair in Round Lake where I sat up Mary Kay. I did fairly well and managed to get a few more customers!
The 11th was spent in S. Falls with my good friend Angie. We hit up the annual S. Falls craft show at the arena and shopped most of the day!

Presley's gymnastics continued...which she absolutely loves! She was sad for it to end on the 20th.

We went to Brewster for supper a couple times this month. They have started their weekly Monday night specials. It's fun to go and visit with Paul while he works!

I taught Sunday school twice this month. I'm really starting to get into it! We average about 8 kids a week. Thank goodness for my helpers!
Jason is busy farming...which he absolutely loves. He spent 12 hours farming last Saturday!

My job is very busy! My career took a big step with the addition of the Marketing Coordinator role at the clinic. I'm busy now trying to sift out my Patient Rep. and Interpreter Services tasks. There is no plans to hire someone for the Pt. Rep. role (the new Business Office Manager will be taking on some of that as her job has changed as well) ...but a part-time interpreter will be hired (hopefully soon!) I will now market the hospital, clinic, and Radiation Center.

Gosh, what else. Well, looking back at this lengthy post, I would say that is enough for now!

October is very close to being done...where do the months go! Christmas is only 65 days away...but whose counting?! Take care!

6 year anniversary!

Hi,

6 years already! Where has the time gone! We had a great day! We spent it eating out! We hit Kimbrae's champagne brunch (I was lucky our anniversary fell on a Sunday, Oct. 5 as this is one of my fav's) and then went to Bergen Steakhouse (which is Jason's fav) for supper. We had a nice day. I managed to get a picture of us! Check it out!

Mommy gets a haircut and color!

Hi,

My hair was way over due for a cut and color. I don't dare color it from May - Sept. as the sun does a lot to it! I got my fall color yesterday...and decided to cut it shorter! So far, so good! Even Jason likes it! Presley and Madison weren't quite sure what to think. Presley did say this morning though, "I really like your hair mommy!"

A beautiful fall afternoon at the park!

Hi,

We caught up with some friends of ours (Angie and Jacob Meyer) yesterday after work and headed to Chatauqua park! It was a beautiful fall afternoon! I took a few pictures and thought I would share them!

I am sure loving this idea of "blogging!" I hope you are enjoying reading about us too!

Madison's new hiding spots!

Hi,

I just had to put this post on here...featuring Madison and her new hiding spots!
She just loves to climb into the cupboard under the kitchen sink (with direct supervision of course) and climb in our upstairs shower (sorry, no pic's of that yet)!
She is so busy! Can't you just hear her giggling! And what a goofy face...that's her new picture face! Auntie - you will love that! Enjoy!

Surprise!

Hi,
We had a great time over the weekend! On Saturday, Sept 27th, we surprised my mom (Grandma Sue) with a party! 40-50 of her friends and family joined us at the golf course for food, drinks, and fun! It was priceless when she walked in and said "Oh, you guys!" She had no idea!
The party ended earlier then what I had expected...everything was cleaned up and we were home by 11:15 p.m. The 1/2 week of festivities ended with a bang!
