Last Friday we had the chance to go and see Presley and her friends at Sunny Days perform in their Harvest program. It was a lot of fun to see how they have grown and changed from last year. They performed 6-8 songs and all did a great job! The program lasted about 30 minutes and after we got to do a couple crafts with them. Grandma Sue, Grandma Mary, Grandpa Darwin, Great-Grandpa Harm and Great-Grandma Rose joined us. Thanks to all of them for coming! After, we went out for lunch and I went back to work. Jason took the whole day off and spent it with the girls. Here are some pictures of her program...
I hope you enjoy reading about our family! This is an online journal where I can go and write about what keeps our family busy and share pictures to go along with all our great memories!

Fun at the Park!
Daddy loves to farm!
The girls and I went out to ride in the tractor with him the other night. He was doing some ripping for Bauman's that night. We rode with him for over an hour. He enjoyed the company and the girls just loved riding in the tractor. Presley was just amazed that it could drive all by itself!
As I write this, the rain has been coming down for a day now. Needless to day, Daddy is at home tonight!
Girls Weekend in the Twin Cities!
Presley, Madison and I took a fun trip up to the cities a couple weekends ago. Jason was going to be in the field for 3 straight days...so I took Friday off and we headed up during nap time!
Once dressed, they picked names for each bear and got actual birth certificates for them.
So, we now have a Kaitlin and a Mimi in our family now too!
It was a very fun experience for the girls...one I would highly recommend!
After, we hit a few rides at MOA
and then headed back to Auntie's. It was another big day!
It was a great weekend! Thanks to Auntie, Kevin, and Kevin's mom and dad for all you did to make our weekend enjoyable!
After picking Presley up from pre-school on that Friday, we drove to Jackson and stopped to have lunch with Jason. Then, we got on the interstate...cities bound! Anyone that knows me even a tiny bit knows how much I LOVE to go to the cities! I would go for a long weekend every month if I could (and actually have for 5 straight months this year!) When we got there in the afternoon, we spent about 30 min. at Auntie Amber's and then headed to Mickey's Diner (very neat place in downtown St. Paul where a part in The Mighty Ducks movie was filmed.)
It is a very small place...with a 3o minute limit on dining. We hurried up and ate and then headed to Candyland (another famous place in the cities),
walked through Macy's (girls got to write letters to Santa in the store and put them in a huge, red mailbox)

to the Children's Museum. That was our second time there...first time for Madison! It was a lot of fun! Auntie managed to get up early one morning that week and get passes from the library for the museum. Kevin's mom Linda helped us out with some great passes too! Auntie, Kevin, Presley, Madison and I spent just over 2 hours there for only $2! Not bad!

After, we were all tired and headed back to Amber's. Amber and I stayed up until midnight talking wedding...gotta love slumber parties and girl time!

Saturday we slept in and then headed to the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
Amber had a class there for 2 hours that morning, so we tagged along. It was neat! Lots to see and touch!

After MIA, we headed to Kevin's parents house for lunch. Kevin, his mom, and dad agreed to watch the girls for a few hours so Amber and I could bridesmaid dress shop. We ended up spending 5 hours shopping and hit 3 places! It was lots of fun! I think she may have found some potential dresses...and they are even ones I like (bonus)!! After shopping, we went back to Dave and Linda's for supper! They were so gracious to treat us to 2 great meals! Then, it was time to head to MOA to go and build bears at Build-A-Bear Workshop! Amber and Kevin had given Presley a gift certificate to build-a-bear for her birthday. We finally got a chance to use it. They treated Madison to one too as an early birthday present for her. The girls both had a great time! Picking the right bear wasn't hard for Presley...she ran right in and found the one with the most pink on it!
We had to hold up 3-4 for Madison to pick from. The girls got to stuff their own bears, pick out hearts for them, and do a cute little song before putting the hearts in.
After being stuffed, they got to give their bears baths.
Next was dressing them. The toughest part was figuring out which outfit to get...which involved lots of trying outfits on.

Madison cared less about dressing her bear...she wanted her to ride in this car more then anything!

Sunday was a little more relaxed. We went to church, had lunch, shopped for a few hours and then headed home. We even saw 3 hot air balloons on the way home!
