Snowmobiling fun with good friends!

On Saturday, our good friends, the Meyer's, invited us over to enjoy the winter weather! It just happened to be snowing that day (go figure!) It was a fun afternoon of snowmobiling and sledding! It was 25 degrees out...so not too cold. We all bundled up and spent a few hours (off and on) playing outside. We had to take a couple breaks to enjoy hot chocolate too!

They had 2 really nice bigger snowmobiles and 1 fun, little, kitty cat snowmobile for kids. Jacob is a pro on it. Presley wasn't so sure at first. Once she saw Jacob on it though, she had to give it a try. Within about a minute, she was loving it too!
Even Madison had fun on it...with very close adult supervision! She couldn't quite pull the handle to make it go...so we all helped her!
Here is Jason, Presley, Brian, and Jacob taking both sleds for a spin!

After we snowmobiled, we decided to drive out the Ocheyedan Mound and go sledding. WOW! That was an experience we will never forget. It took Jason (he carried Madison), Angie, and I 45 min. to climb up. There was at least 2 feet of snow in some spots. We sunk down every step we took. Brian, Presley, and Jacob were up and sledded down the hill a couple times before we made it up the hill once. Needless to say, we enjoyed the view once we actually made it and only went down once. That was a workout like non other! It was a lot of fun none the less with lots of good laughs!

We had a great time! Thanks Angie, Brian, and Jacob for inviting us over!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day from the Sieve's!!!

13 years ago, Jason and I started dating! And look at us today! We have so much to be thankful for. We spent the day with the 2 most important people in our lives...our GIRLS!!!

Jason, Presley, and Madison sent this bouquet of flowers to me at work a couple days before.

Presley had a great time at her Valentine's party at Sunny Days on the 12th. Here are some pictures of her at it.
They sang...
Played pin the heart on cupid...
Did an airplane toss through a heart...

Tossed hearts into heart baskets...
And just had a lot of fun!
Even mommy came for an hr. to help!
We got to see our niece Mersaydes on Friday night and give her a Valentine gift from us. We gave her the outfit she's wearing! Her smile says it all...that she loves it! Ok, maybe she isn't smiling because of her new outfit and that she is excited to be sitting on the counter at Grandma Sue and Pauly's house with her cousins! We gave our other niece the same outfit! Then, the girls opened their Valentine's treats from us on the 14th! Here they are posing with their presents before they opened them...

They both got outfits. Presley also got a pink gumball machine...
and Madison got a Fur Real puppy!
We had a nice Valentine's...and we hope you did too!

Daddy gets some new wheels!

This post is dedicated to my wonderful husband Jason! I don't think I have written one just for him yet!

It only took 12 years, but my very deserving husband finally traded his 1998 Chevy for a 2003 Chevy Duramax diesel 4-door pick-up!!! Yesterday was a very exciting day for all of us!
We started talking about getting a newer pick-up a couple weeks ago. We had out grown the one we had. We were very tight for room when all 4 of us were in it. Jason had been browsing for one off and on for awhile now. The end of last week we saw info. on this one. Jason called right away. The dealer had just gotten it on the lot and hadn't taken any pictures yet. They said give them until this week. So, Jason called again on Monday. They sent pictures on Tuesday and he called to line up a day to meet. He asked if they would hold it until Sat. They could only hold it for 24 hours. So, we re-arranged our work schedules and left our house yesterday at 1. We drove to Madison, SD. The pick-up was actually from a dealer 75 miles further but they agreed to meet us in Madison.
It was exactly what we were hoping for! We took it for a spin and talked it over with the saleman. They offered us an amount for ours. Before we knew it, we were shaking hands, moving stuff from one pick-up to the next, and headed home in our new pick-up!
Here is a picture of Jason cleaning out our old pick-up.
Although it was old and had a lot of miles on it, it was a great pick-up that we will miss!
Jason really wanted a picture of him between both of his pick-ups!
We had to take a picture of all of us with them too!
Here he is about 5 miles into our trip back home in our new pick-up!

Congrats Jason! We are so excited for you! We love you!
