Gotta love the Lakefield pool!

Lakefield pool...here we come...3-4 times this summer!!! We absolutely love the Lakefield pool. Beings it is only 15-20 minutes from us...we try and get there as much as possible. This year we got there a few times. The girls really enjoy it (and I enjoying taking afternoons off to take them there!) Here are just a couple pictures of one of our outings there. Diana N. and her kids joined us that day. We had a blast!

Dance camp!

Presley has found something else she really enjoys! Dancing! She wanted to give dance camp a try this summer too. It was a week long for 3 hours each afternoon. She had a great time! Then on Friday they put on a little show for the parents. It was really neat! She said she definitely wants to do that again! Here are some pictures of her last day...

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July from the Sieve's!!!

(Yes, I know it's 7 weeks after that I am actually posting this...but better late then never!)

We had a great 4th of July this year...it was our first big camping trip for the summer. I made reservations for us and 2 other families way back in April and it had finally arrived. We all pulled in on Friday (July 1) and we stayed until the 5th (our friends pulled out on the 4th). 4 big nights. It was a lot of fun! We spent 5 days and 4 nights socializing, grilling, eating, biking, walking, boating, swimming, playing lawn games, sitting around the campfire, etc. We had 4-5 other families come out and visit off and on all weekend. The adults stayed up most nights until midnight or later sitting around the campfire. On the 4th, we walked over to the bike trail and put up our lawnchairs for the fireworks. We invited our families out for supper that night and they watched the fireworks with us. It was a really nice, long weekend!

Summer gymnastics!

We decided to give summer gymnastics a try. Presley participated in 2 weeks of it in June where it was 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours each time. She really enjoyed it and got a lot of opportunities to practice every thing. Here are some pictures of her at one of her classes...
