Presley Turns 6 - Part 1

Presley Renee has turned 6! Insert tears here! Yes, it's true! As excited as she was for her 6th birthday...Jason and I were shocked at how fast that time has gone. She isn't a baby anymore. She is a 6 year old, who will be starting kindergarten very soon!

We decided to do her friends party and our family party at the campground where we camped from July 30 - August 2.

No, we hadn't lost our minds when we invited 7 kids out on the 31st to go swimming, open presents, make bracelets, grill, eat, and play! It ended up being a great time! I couldn't have done it without Jason!

We decorated (Barbie theme) that morning and frosted some cupcakes.

Then it was time to go and pick up the kids. We had them all meet in Worthington and Jason and I loaded them all up and drove them to Adrian. 1 kid wasn't able to make it. We ended up with 8 kids including Presley and Madison!

The friends included: Front - Tarren Spartz, Kameron Spartz, Jacob Meyer and Madison. Back - Bryn Donkersloot, Lauren Nelson, Presley, and Konner Honius.
First on the agenda was swimming. Keep in mind...they all needed their suits put on...so we did that first, blew up the floaties we gave eacho f them as a gift to take home, took a quick picture, and loaded everyone in the back of the pick-up...

We made it...we were only at the pool for about 15 min. when they called a break. Here they are relaxing...

Here are all the girls ready to jump in...holding hands...

We had swam for 1 1/2 hours. It was time to go back to the camper to eat. Everyone got dressed and while Jason was grilling, Presley opened presents...

Madison was shot...she couldn't take it anymore...

Everyone was starving...bring on the hot dogs, chips, watermelon, juice, and cupcakes!

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to the Birthday Girl Presley, Happy Birthday to you!!!
I would say the party was a huge success! I had scheduled it from 1 - 6 p.m. thinking that we would have a ton of extra time...boy was I wrong. The time just flew by!
Thanks to all the kids...and parents!
