Happy Halloween from the Sieve's

Happy, Happy Halloween 2010 from the Sieve's!

We always get the girls a little something for each holiday. Here they are opening a couple presents...

It was time to get our costumes on! All of us wore costumes!

Even their amazing dad put on a costume! Ok, so we had went to a costume party the night before and he had to have one...but look at him! It's not every day you see a dad in a blue crayon costume! We were the most G rated couple at the party!
Madison loves to do silly face pictures!
Me and my girls!

We stopped at a couple neighbors houses by us first. Then we headed to town. First stop, Grandpa and Grandma Sieve's. Justin, Holli, and MacKenzie were there.
Grandpa and Grandma with their grand-daughters.

Next stop was Grandma Sue, Pauly, and Uncle Eric's house.
Mersaydes was there for a little bit too.

Great-Grandma Norma's was next. It's always fun to stop at her place. A bunch of the people that live at her apartment complex come down and play Bingo and greet all the trick-or-treaters!

Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Dammer's house was next.

We stopped at one of our back-up daycare lady's houses too. She is the mom of my good friend Amber. Amber, her husband BJ and their son Tucker were there too so we got to see them as well.
We made it to 12-14 places in the 4 hours we trick-or-treated. The girls are still at the age to just go from house to house in the car and spend a little time at each one. Someday soon they won't want to do this...they will want to walk from house to house and fill their buckets to the brim. For now though, they are content with the candy and extra special gifts they get at each place!
Halloween was a success! They both had a blast and so did we!

Character Walk at Prairie and Daycare pic's

Prairie Elementary had a character walk on the Friday before Halloween. They try not to celebrate "holidays" for those that don't do that (Jason still can't figure this one out), and so they did a character walk instead. You had to dress in a costume that had a book to go along with it. Go figure, I didn't know this when I bought the costumes. However, Mrs. Kuhl, Presley's teacher, had a book about crayons! Yeah! Here she is with her book...

Here is Presley and her good buddy Jacob...

Yes, you are seeing what you think you are seeing! Me in a Crayon Box costume! I was excited to find this online. Since the girls love when I dress up, I bought it and wore it to school that day!

Here is Jacob and his mom, my good friend, Angie...

After school, I took a picture of a couple of the daycare kids...
Presley and Autumn Luinenburg were wearing similiar shirts...so I had to get a picture of them!
Since it was Friday afternoon and Sibley was doing their trick-or-treating that night, we decided to head down that way. That way the girls could wear their costumes a couple times!

Pumpkin Carving Time and Clean-up!

Presley had been asking for over a week to carve pumpkins! The Thursday night before Halloween we decided it was a good night to do so.

Presley digs right in. The goo and seeds don't bother her a bit. Surprisingly, Madison is not a fan. She would rather watch and not touch.

I was in charge of getting the pumpkin seeds in a bowl. For some reason, Jason and Presley really like roasted seeds. I personally think they taste like wood and are hard to swallow! I had about 5 seeds left to get out and Jason tells me I can stop...that there is plenty. Thanks honey!
After Halloween last year, I bought this great carving kit from Walmart. We put that to good use. They even had some patterns we could go off of. Presley taped them on and poked the pattern holes so daddy could do the cutting.

Madison was ready for clean-up by this point. Clothes were off and bathtub was running!
I got a couple cute pictures of them cleaning up in the tub!

In only 3 days, we will be out trick-or-treating!

Halloween...here we come!

These are just some fun pictures I took with my sister's amazing camera she left for us to use while she is gone! It's her old one...but still works so great! The girls were willing to put on their costumes early for a few cute pictures by our harvest display Jason and they put together. I always love when they put this together...it just makes our place feel more like fall! Enjoy!

Halloween...here they come! They are ready!
