We had a great Memorial Weekend in the cities! It was very big weekend for Auntie Amber...she graduated from Luther Seminary with her Master's Degree! We went up on Friday a.m. and came home Sun. night. This is what we did while we were there...
Friday we got to the cities around 2. We met Amber and Kevin at a great park right off of 169. We spent a couple hours there. 
We were about 5 minutes from leaving when Madison fell and chipped her tooth. She didn't have any other scrape on her...just her tooth. Luckily, Kevin's mom works for a dentist that was about 10 minutes away. We were worried with it being Friday afternoon of Memorial Weekend...but luckily he was still open and squeezed us in. He did what he could to file it down. We ended up taking her to our local dentist when we got home. There was no damage to the tooth, her gums, etc. It was mainly cosmetic. Both dentists did a great job filing it down. The rest of the crew (my mom, Paul, Eric, and Jackie) got to the cities around 5. We met at Amber's place and then headed to a St. Paul Saints game. They were playing the Sioux Falls Pheasant's (formerly known as the Canaries). Luther Seminary Seniors sponsored the game. It was a lot of fun! The Pheasant's beat the Saints like 9-1. 
We were all shot after the game so headed back to bed!

We got back in time for Amber's graduating class photo, baccalaureate, and a family picnic. 
My mom, sister, and I didn't get enough shopping done in Albertville, so after the picnic we went to the Roseville Mall and Target while the other's went to the Como Zoo park.

My dad joined us that morning at Kevin's church. It was a big day for Kevin too as the news of his resignation and Mission Trip had just came out that week and was announced to the congregation that morning. We were glad to be there for him! We went for lunch after church. We stopped at Kevin's place for an hr. after lunch to change and get ready for commencement. We headed towards the church where the commencement would take place around 2. It is an incredible church in downtown Minneapolis! The ceremony was amazing as we watched hundreds of students graduate! 
We are so proud of Amber Sue for her accomplishment! It came with a lot of hard work, sweat, tears, etc.! Congrats!!!

we headed to Walker Art Park for a picnic. This is the park with the sculptures...the cherry on the spoon is the most famous piece! 
We enjoyed a meal together,

and watched the rain roll in. It was about 6 p.m. when it started to rain. It was time for us to head for home. We got home around 10 p.m. Monday was spent relaxing at home, doing laundry, mowing, etc. It was nice to have that day to catch up before we headed back to work.
It was a fun weekend! Thanks to family for the memories made! We love you all!
