First Visit to See Santa and Downtown Holiday Parade!

The big day had arrived! Our first visit of the season to see Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus! Just as I suspected...both girls were a little nervous. It took Presley about 5 min. to get up the courage to go and sit on Santa's lap. Once she did though...it was no big deal! She told him her entire list...a DS, Barbie House, Digital Camera, and IPod Touch (all very expensive items I might add)! She was about the 3rd kid in line to say a DS.

Then it was Madison's turn! This is as close as she was going to get to him!

She was not at all interested in sitting on his lap or telling him what she wanted. Next year maybe!

Then it was time for the 2nd annual holiday parade in downtown Worthington! It was a good time! There were 15-20 entries. We stood by our good friends the Klinkenborg's and Luinenburg's. It was about 15-20 degrees out. The kids had a blast!

We will definitely come down and do those events again next year. I don't see it turning into the Turkey Day parade by any means...but I wouldn't be surprised if next year they double their entries and someday it getting up to 50-75 entries!
