MN Blizzard!

A couple weeks ago we woke up to a winter wonderland! Ok, so it was more like a day long blizzard! We woke up at 8 a.m. on that Saturday to blowing winds and they continued (and got worse at some points) all day long. We went to bed that night to blowing winds. They got to 60+ MPH at some points! We didn't see the road the entire day.

Presley had wanted a friend to stay over night on Friday night. Her parents knew they may not see Lauren until Sun. Thank goodness she didn't get home sick...she was with us from Friday at 4 p.m. - Sunday at 4 p.m. Presley, Madison and Lauren had a great time all weekend long! I only remember them saying "You aren't my friend anymore" and "You aren't coming to my next birthday party" once or twice! Girls!

We were planning to have the Sieve/Barber Christmas at our house that Sunday but on Saturday afternoon, it was a concensus to re-schedule it for some time in Jan. Thank goodness we did because it took us until 3 p.m. to even get out of our driveway that Sunday.

I'm so glad we were all home and weren't traveling!
