Presley's 8th Birthday Party with her family

We had Presley's 8th Birthday party with our immediate family on August 5th.  It was a nice day...75 and sunny.  We had it in our garage.  We always hope to have it in there but we have had a few years where it has been way too hot.

Her theme was monkey and polka dots.  We did a taco bar for the lunch.  Grandma Mary made her a really nice cake and she got some great gifts!  Just about everyone was able to make it.  My grandma Norma wasn't able to make it as it is hard for her to go out of her apartment.

Here are some pictures from her party...

We had fun "playing" outside after...

I love enjoying birthday parties with families. We make sure having dinner or tea party with dear ones on such special occasions. Most of the times it is the event space Chicago that is hired for celebrations. Dinner last week on my cousin's birthday was yummy. Cheesy snacks and caramel cake was my favorite.
