TRAIN

We were super excited to find out that the group Train was going to be playing at the annual Sanford festival in early August!  Of course we made plans to go.

We went over to Sioux Falls a little early and ate at Texas Roadhouse.  Presley picked to eat their since it was her birthday the next day.  Her and Madison both enjoy sitting on the saddle and getting "Happy Birthday" Texas Roadhouse style sang to them!  Check out the pictures below.

Then it was off to the concert.  Unfortunately, the weather was not looking very good.  We hadn't gotten rain in 6-8 weeks and go figure, the night we wanted to be outside enjoying a concert, it was very dark.

The opening act sang a couple songs and then skipped the rest of their songs so that Train could come on.  Train ended up singing their top 6-7 songs.  Here are some pictures I took during the concert...

After the 6-7 songs they sang, the weather forecaster came on stage and said it would be in everyone's best interest and safety to end the concert.  We got back to our car and headed for home.  We managed to stay just ahead of the storm most of the way home. 

It was a fun night despite the rain (which we very much needed).  Train is awesome!
