I decided to make a separate post for this very special event! Madison Jay had her first hair cut last weekend. Since we had plans to be in the cities, I thought it would be fun to bring her to a kids hair salon! I had seen it in November when the girls and I were up in the cities visiting Amber. Since she was only a couple weeks from turning 2, no time like the present! I had made an appointment a couple weeks before...and it was a good thing I had as they were very busy. We only waited about 5 min. and Madison was up! As you can see below...she was in need of a hair cut!
There are about 8 Kids Hair salons in the Twin Cities. They are very cute and just for kids (hence the name). There are little chairs and tables in the waiting room, low coat racks and hangers for their coats, cute chairs for them to sit in, t.v.'s with cartoons at every booth, and they lay down to get their hair washed! It was pajama day at the salon so all the beauticians were in their p.j.'s.
They gave Madison a sucker and some toys right away and she was set. She sat so still and did an incredible job for 15 min. straight. She never shed one tear. She played with the toys, kept her head down, and sucked away on her sucker. She did an amazing job! The beautician did so great too. We had her take a little over an inch off the back of her hair and then trim it up all over.

And her she is all complete (and still enjoying her sucker!) What a cutie!!!
Since we were there, Presley had to get a little cut off too!
It ended up being a lot of fun for the girls! Definitely something we will do again!
