The 30 week mark!

The 30 week mark had arrived (ok, so that was 4 weeks ago but better late then never)...only 10 more weeks to go!!! I don't have much to report...and completely forgot to take a picture (but will the next time I post about my preganancy...I promise). Here's a little update on how it's going...

-I can tell I'm older this time and have more responsibilities at home. There isn't much time to be tired, take naps, and just lounge. As I get closer to the end, I'm going to have to make time again to do those things!
-The girls are so excited...and are hoping for a boy! I have to remind them that we don't get to pick...and that we just want a healthy baby! Presley still says "but mom, if you could pick, what would you want?!"
-The baby moves constantly - except when Jason and the girls want to feel. It somehow knows that someone else besides me wants to feel and it stops immediately!
-We have the 3rd child syndrome at our house bad! We haven't bought much yet. But will very soon. And no, the nursery isn't done yet either.
-I have no feelings one way or another of what the sex is. We will wait and see!
-I would say I'm carrying a little lower this time...from what I can remember from the first 2 pregnancies.
-All my check-ups have went very well! I've had 3-4 ultrasounds and they have all turned out great!

Gosh, I think that's about it for now. More updates and a picture to come next time (in a month or so).

Thanks for reading!

Turkey Day festivities

Yeah...Turkey Day had arrived! This is another event (some what like the Clay County Fair) that we wouldn't miss! Beings we are home town kids and all. This year was going to be a little different for us though (beings I was 29 weeks pregnant).

We usually take part in the cathlon (Sanford has a team) and work in the beer garden Friday night. We decided just to watch the cathlon and skip the beer garden this year! For 10+ years, I've always gotten up to walk in the Turkey Day 5K Fun walk on Sat. a.m. (but thought I better sit that out). We did watch the runners take off, go get the free pancakes, and cheer for the runners as they were coming back to the finish line. We walked in the parade again this year with the Sanford ambulance. Jason headed to the beer garden at 6 and I went home with the girls. My dad had volunteered to come down and watch them so he met us there and I came back to town at 8 to catch up with friends and enjoy the evening.

The weekend turned out to be a lot of fun! Sorry, no pic's though!

Trip to the Clay County Fair!

We never miss it! Jason and I have been together over 15 years and couldn't imagine missing the Clay County Fair!

Jason was down at it all day for work...so the girls and I joined him that evening. He had went through all the machinery...so I was excited to skip that. He saved all the animal barns and the shops for us! We were only there 4 hours...but had a great time!

Here's some pictures of our evening at the fair...

If you have ever listened to Bill Engvall and Jeff Foxworthy...you will know what this picture is about. This is a dedication to my sister Amber. She knows what we are doing! LOL!

The famous train!

It turned out to be quite chilly that evening. I was glad I brought

hats and mittens along for the girls. They were waiting to eat here. Instead of ordering 10 different foods...we opted for a nice, hot Godfather's pizza! We had mini donuts later too!

Grandpa's Funny Farm is a hit for the kids with the little animals...

This was outside of the funny farm...man I love these 3!!!!

Time for rides! This is the big slide they built a couple years ago at the fair.

It is a permanent attraction.

They had a special on rides that night. They were excited to get to ride quite a few rides.

It was another fun trip to the fair! Next year will make 16 years (or right around there!)

Happy Wedding Day to Justin and Holli!

What a beautiful weekend for a wedding! September 10th had arrived! Jason's brother Justin got engaged to his girlfriend Holli almost 2 years before. It was the day they had been preparing for and anxious to arrive! The weather was turning out to be awesome too!

We all met in Marshall on September 9th around 10 to start the festivities! First thing was first, mani's and pedi's for the ladies! While we were doing that, the guys went to get tuxes. Presley, Madison and our niece MacKenzie (Justin and Holli's daughter) went with the guys.

Then it was time for lunch before decorating the reception hall, church and

starting the rehearsal.

The rehearsal went well. Its always good to practice up before the big day!

The wedding day had arrived!!!! It was time for hair!

We headed to the church right after our hair appointments to get ready! Presley and Madison were so excited to get their dresses on...and they looked absolutely beautiful!!!

Here's a couple pictures of the 4 of us. I just love these!

And the girls!

She couldn't take it...she was so tired. She slept through the whole ceremony.

Myself coming down the aisle with one of the groomsmen, Brandon.

Jason (the Best Man) coming down with Teresa who was the Maid of Honor.

Here come my little sweet peas! This is when I started crying! They did a great job!

The ceremony was very nice!

Thanks to my mom who came to the wedding during pictures and to the ceremony to take these great pictures!

The reception went really well too! Everyone had a great time!

Here's Madison Jay sticking her tongue out at me!

Teaching MacKenzie to stick out her tongue! LOL!

The weekend turned out so nice. The dance went until around midnight. We turned in around 11. I was so tired beings I was 7 months pregnant. We did gift opening at the hotel on Sunday a.m. and all headed home.

Congrats to Justin and Holli! We wish you the best in the years ahead!
