Happy, Happy 1st Anniversary to Amber and Kevin!
They celebrated their special day, August 28th, with a great party at my mom and Paul's house that evening! They invited all their guests from the wedding and ended up having around 40 people come. It was a great turnout. They served burgers, brats, salads, and bars. Yummy!
They had a whole program planned for their guests. It started out with singing "Happy Birthday" to Presley. They were so sad that they missed her 7th birthday and so had to do a little special thing for her. They gave her a swimsuit for her American Girl Doll as a gift during it. Then they surprised me with a short little presentation thanking me for all I did for them while they were gone for 11 months. I was shocked when they gave me a real Coach purse as a gift! I absolutely love it and will cherish it! Then Amber had put a presentation together for Kevin. It was so nice. She gave him a bunch of little gifts and then a kindle as his big gift! Paper is supposed to be the official 1st anniversary gift...and this is the new version of paper!
The night ended with kayak rides on the lake. A few guests took them up on the offer.
All in all, it was a great night! They have had quite the year to celebrate! Happy Anniversary again to them...and many, many more! We love you both!
