Twins game and MOA weekend with Dad!

The last weekend in August (267th-27th) my dad invited us to a Twins game and a night over in the cities. He absolutely loves the Twins and has went to at least a dozen games this season alone! We hadn't been to the new field yet so we jumped at the chance. It worked out for all of us! We left our house on Friday at 12:30 p.m. We wanted to check into the hotel, swim a little and eat a light supper before the 7:10 p.m. game. We managed to get all that done and be on the train by 5:30. Here are some pictures of our evening...

When this sign was put up on Target Center, there was a lot of controversy over it. It was a must to take a picture with it above us!

This was super neat when TC (the Twins mascot) came this close to us to take pictures before the game! The girls loved it!

It was a beautiful evening at the game! And we had really great seats...we were probably only 10 rows up and a ways down from 3rd base.

We got back to the hotel around 11 and were all shot. We headed right to bed.

On Saturday, we got up and swam some more, ate breakfast at the hotel and packed up for a full day of shopping. On Friday before we left I warned Jason that I had no plans to get home early Sat. night. We shopped from noon - 6 at the Mall of America and then shopped a little in Mankato and ate there for a late supper. We got home around 11:30 p.m.
