25 weeks...to 27 weeks all in 1 day!

Here's a little update on my pregnancy -

I had an ultrasound and another OB appt. on August 30th. They had done an ultrasound at 21 weeks and weren't able to get as many pictures as they wanted. So, much to my delight (they are just so reassuring), I had another one. Everything looked great! 1 big surprise was that the baby was measuring a lot bigger and further along then my December 15th due date. At my doctors appointment after the ultrasound, the Dr. talked with me about moving my due date up. I can't say I was too surprised as I've felt all along I was further along. When I learned I was pregnant, after doing the appropriate calculations, I thought (about 99% sure) my due date was December 2nd. At my first OB appt, they decided to do an ultrasound that said I had a due date of December 15th. I couldn't quite figure out how I would have known I was pregnant when I found out...but they are the experts...so we went with it. At the appointment on the 30th, the Dr. decided to move it up to December 2nd. So, I went from 25 weeks to 27 weeks all in 1 day! The baby actually measured at a due date of November 24th. We talked a little bit about when I should plan to have the baby at this appointment, as I will have a c-section, and then we decided to wait until mid-November to decide for sure.

Feelings wise...the nausea is better. I still have some gagging spells. All in all though, I've done a lot better this time then with my last two pregnancies. With Presley, I had a kidney infection at 10 weeks and had to be hospitalized for that. With Madison, I got the flu 5 times and was hospitalized 2 times for dehydration. I haven't had any of that which is great! I have to say though I'm ready to be done with being pregnant and ready to have baby #3!

For those of you that are wondering...we still haven't found out the sex of the baby. As OCD as I am with being prepared, this is one surprise we just love at the end!
