Happy New Year from the Sieves!

Happy, Happy New Year 2012 from the Sieves!

We celebrated New Year's Eve at our friends the Nelson's house. There were 3 families that got together. On our way to their house, we got one of the first huge snow falls of the year. During our 30 minute drive to their house, we saw the biggest snow flakes we had seen all year. We got there around 6:15 and spent the evening socializing and eating!

Between the 3 families, there were 8 kids - 6 girls and 2 boys. They all played so good together.

I picked up these glasses the day before at PartyAmerica in S. Falls. The gal at the register said they were selling like crazy so I thought I had to buy a pair. It was $3 well spent as most of the kids enjoyed wearing them!












New Year's Day was spent celebrating Christmas with my dad. We had him over to our house along with my brother, his girlfriend, our niece, Amber and Kevin. We had a nice lunch and then opened presents.























The party continued into the evening with quite a few games of Kings Corner. My Grandma Alice (my dad's mom) absolutely loved that game. We find ourselves playing it a lot when we are all together. I'm not sure if we play because she loved it or because it's an easy game that we all know!
