Monroe's Baptism!

Monroe's Baptism Day had arrived! January 15th, 2012 will be a wonderful day we will always look back on. She was welcomed into God's family and into St. Matthew's Lutheran Church congregation. She was baptized at the 10:30 a.m. service. It was a beautiful day!

Here are some pictures of her special day...

Monroe and her dad!

Time to get dressed!

Look at her big smile! She is excited!

Jason was putting on the bracelet we gave her.

Baptism time...

Auntie Amber and Uncle Kevin wrote her a special song and sang it to her.

Pictures after the baptism...

Monroe with all of her Godparents.

All of our siblings and their spouses were asked to fulfill this special role in her life.

Eric and his girlfriend Missy with Monroe.

Monroe with all of her grandparents.

Great-grandparents too.

A few more "must have" pictures.

We had a luncheon in the church fireside room after. We served cheesy turkey sandwiches, calico beans, chips/dip, snicker salad, cake, nuts, etc. It was a nice lunch. Jason's mom made the cakes which turned out so nice.

We opened gifts after the lunch.

My mom made this quilt for Monroe's room along with the crib skirt, bumper pad, and diaper stacker. Her and Paul gave her a couple of these things as part of her baptism gift.

We also gave her this Precious Moments.

More wonderful gifts.

Thank you to our families for sharing in this special day with us! We are all so blessed!
